Strange Animal Behavior
64Blue Bird Scout
Spring in January in WV?
Well here it is almost 60 degrees in January on our mountain in WV. What's this flicker of blue I keep seeing passing my window. Must be another blue jay come to run off the little birds away. No by cracky that's a mountain blue bird, checking out last years wren house. It's way too early for scouts now ... isn't it? I've never seen scouts in this area before March. Oh well here it is. I guess I'll have to put the blue bird houses up early.

Honey Bee
What's this? Surely it can't be a honey bee. Poor Baby, it's calling to drop back to the 30's tonight. Well you go fly my little friend. You only have a day to live and no flowers to suck. How do you cram a lifetime into a day!
Tree Hog
Fox Squirrel
Hornless
My goodness Little Spikie has already lost his horns. Ops here come the does with their young'uns and they ain't liking the intruder. A couple of stomps and they are cool with him since he's already shed his horns.
Boy here comes trouble the spikes are coming in with an attitude. Little Spikie just hide behind the does and they stood their ground between their babies and the new intruders. Little Spikie just slid away down the mountain surrounded by his new female friends.
I don't know what's up with this extreme changes in the weather ... It's even got the animals confused.
