I have been doing some research online regarding spyware to try and find the best spyware for me to load on my pc. I found this hub very helpful and informative, many thanks.
I have done some of my own research and am of the understanding that spywarebot is infact a can and hass been shown to detect false positives to incourage users to splash out on this software, my views are to do your own research before believing these so called 'user reviews'.
If your going to download this go to mcafee site advisor first, then read the reviews, mostly negative! This software is attempting to trick users into thinking it is the well known spbot search and destroy (which it definately is not the case)
SpywareBOT is a good product, though I have found the best spyware remover is XoftSpySE. There is a full review at www.removespywareguide.com

This program is a malicious clone of a well known program called spybot it also exploits their "search and destroy" tag. When it scans it gives a lot of false positives and requires you to buy the product in order to "clean" your pc. Stay away from spywarebot. If you don't believe me look at this:

Why would a reputable antivirus software need three different websites for one application? To top it all off look at this site:

Hmm, it looks exactly the same. If the information on it is true then why are the other websites still in existance? If you do some research then you find that Spywarebot is a bad program. Search the net and you will find some unfortunate users who installed it that share their horror stories. It is on the Rouge/Suspect list of the Spyware Warrior website, a site dedicated to exposing unscrupulous antivirus and antispyware programs. For a complete list here is a link:
