Squaw Valley Lake Tahoe, California
67Squaw Valley
I remember my first trip to Squaw Valley in South Lake Tahoe, I was totally blown away. The beauty of the area, the total majesty of the mountains, the quietness of the valley, and the fresh smell of pine in the air. After travelling their from the hustle and bustle of Chicago the first couple of days was a culture shock. I was there in September, so it was between the summer season when all the kids are out of school and splashing around in the massive lake of Tahoe and the winter season when the ski slopes are alive with skiers and snowboarders.
Squaw Valley is mostly known for the awesome ski slopes and Olympic Village, but also for Squaw Creek's18-hole championship golf course that sits serenely at the base of Squaw Valley. There are many things to do and see in South Lake Tahoe. So come and check out beatiful Squaw Valley and Lake Tahoe.
