And this is the season in which:

• We meet Jonathan Archer. Arrogant, prejudiced (particularly against Vulcans).
• We meet Archer's Vulcan Sub-Commander, T'Pol. Also arrogant and a bit superior.
• Archer and T'Pol clash frequently.
• We also meet: Engineer Charles Tucker, Communications Officer Hoshi Sato, Helmsman Travis Mayweather, Weapons Expert Lt. Malcolm Reed, and Chief surgeon Dr. Phlox.
• There's an epidemic of paranoia from alien pollen
• Tucker falls pregnant
• We see the launch of the first Warp 5 ship

This season,

• The Enterprise meets up with the ship that Mayweather was raised on. Mayweather gets to walk down memory lane.
• The Borg!!
• It's T'Pol's one-year anniversary aboard The Enterprise. While celebrating, she tells of a Vulcan living amongst humans since the 50's.
• Archer detaches Reed from a live mine, while fending off the Romulans
• Tucker is The Invisible Man
• While being transported, Hoshi becomes invisible and watches as she's pronounced dead
• Malcolm, Tucker, Hoshi and Travis play for food rations
• T'Pol the master of Vulcan martial arts

Season reminders:

• Enterprise is on a massive Xindi hunt
• T'Pol is addicted to something poisonous
• Mutiny? Aboard Enterprise?! In the Xindi-Insectoid hatchery incident
• Trip and T'Pol get very friendly indeed
• Archer catches a properly cool, futuristic disease – memory loss caused by parasites in temporal flux. Unfortunately, that puts Archer out of action, and it's the end of earth's civilization. (You've just got to love it!)

• The shuttle is disguised in a comet
