Star Wars Tattoos
71Star Wars Tattoo Popularity
Star Wars' popularity never diminishes, and neither does the desire for fans to include it as a major part of their body art.
There are no shortage of Star Wars characters to have inked on your body, as the rich universe offers an enormous number of possibilities and variety you can choose from.
As you can see from a number of these Star Wars tattoos included, many fans blend the dark and light side of the force into a collage of characters.
Others choose to represent the Empire, while others the rebel alliance, as represented by the characters, space ships and weaponry of each side.
One thing I've noticed with the Star War tattoo theme, is those that have them tend to want a rich number of characters, and that seems to be a problem, as there simply isn't enough room on most parts of your body to include them. The result is not being able to appreciate the fullness of the tattoo, which has to be glimpsed in portions around an arm, leg or shoulder.

Shoulder or back better for Star Wars in most cases
The shoulder sleeve tattoos can work better than most the others, but if you really want to put a lot of Star Wars tattoos on you, the back is really the only place that can truly be a canvass showing the whole of the characters and objects from the movie.

True Star Wars believers probably don't care
I really suppose most fans don't care too much, as far as those having them inked on them, as it's more important to say you've got one than not having one at all.

Individual Star Wars characters or theme?
Of course this is different in the case of having an individual character or maybe two, as you can successfully fit them on an arm or leg if you don't have too much extra stuff with it.

The problem there is some of the cool associated with Star Wars tattoos comes from those extra things.

Some tattoos are cool on their own
But like the one with Chewbacca, he's just cool as a standalone tattoo, and whether you have more or not doesn't matter, as he's good like he is.

Star Wars tattoos of the dark side
A little bit of a surprise to me is how many choose the dark side characters and themes as their Star Wars tatoo choice. I understand the combination of the dark and light sides, as that's what the story is all about, but the dark side alone seems to leave a lot out; but to each his own.

The large number of Star Wars tattoos are a confirmation that the Star Wars universe continues to capture the imagination of fans everywhere, and they respond by putting a tattoo on their body to show their appreciation of that, and how cool it is to remind everyone through body art.
