How Many Starbucks Calories in Your Diet

Straight black coffee has no calories at all - but life would be so boring if we had to drink it like that. Personally I don't mind a few extra Starbucks calories in my diet each day, but I do make sure I don't go overboard with the extra flavorings and extra "trimmings".

I like my Starbucks latte with soy milk and a little bit of cinnamon on the top - not the chocolate sprinkles as that's just wasted calories in my book.

I've actually been trying to lose a few pounds for quite a while now, but have not been having much luck, until a few weeks back.

A friend of mine put me onto a self help program called Magic Hats. They don't focus on helping you lose weight, but this one of the areas they cover.

They teach you how to get your head round losing weight, and how to make it easy on yourself. It's free, so I thought I'd give it a shot.

The guy running the program started on a diet at the same time, so it was good keep track of his progress and how I was doing in comparison.

The tips and techniques he shared really helped me get to grips with planning my diet, and actually making it easy rather than thinking it as going to be hard.

To my astonishment I lost a few pounds in the first 2 weeks which I wasn't expecting - mainly because the program made it sound so easy that I actually forgot I was on a diet.

And the best part was I could still have all the starbucks calories I wanted as I learnt how to base my diet around the foods (and drinks) that I wanted to keep.

I drink my tea without sugar, but coffee.... :-(

Maybe I should stop drinking coffee altogether?

And then I also don't feel the urge to take an extra nibble (sugar is not only bad for weightloss, it's detrimental for your health in general!!!)

Ah, bored with the straight black. If you can't learn to love a good straight black coffee -- because there's a world of variety of flavors out there with just the natural stuff that's roasted fresh -- just give it up now and get out the ice cream bowl.
