The product which you decide to sell needs to have a demand or need in the market for it. You can determine this through keyword searches.

Make a list of hobbies or areas of interest. Why? Because to be effective you need to have a passion about the subject. Example, look at a store in the offline world. If the manager shows no interest in the product then your probably going to take your business elsewhere. So one of the key ingredience is to have an interest or a passion in your product.

Next, to find a product or affiliate program, search for products of interest or affiliate programs to start. Once a demand is found then there is a market for this product. Create a list of words which people would use to search for this product. There are all kinds of free tools on the Internet which will do this. Locate about 4 or 5 keywords which cater to you target market. These keywords are what you will be using to market or more specifically article or websites marketing to your target market. If your interest in an affiliate program, find on which in your area of interest, see what kind of marketing plan the affiliate company already has to get you started and what kind of support they provide. The monthly fees for the affiliate program should not be expensive with acceptable monthly fees. Oh yes, it should have a good customer service department to provide help.

Ok, now that you've found keywords for you target audience, a good affiliate program or product to sell which will provide you with a good return on investment, its time to concentrate on marketing.

Network marketing success although conceptually complex is not difficult, but a critical thing is you've got to understand the basics. Don't go hog-wild over setting up websites, pumping money into marketing until you get a handle on the basics. Effective marketing is the key and there are a lot of free ways to accomplish this.

What I stated above is a little watered down, there are a lot of concepts that need to be understood. There are a lot of people in this world who want to setup a home based business, they want the financial freedom which can come from doing so, but they lack the desire to make it happen.
