For many of us dads missing some of the first things our children do is revealed to us by our wives or the day care leaders. How many of us were informed of our sons first hit in baseball by someone else? And is much effort as they tried to recreate the event...it was just not the same.

Being a Stay AT Home Dad is just not an option for the vast majority of us dads. I mean after all, we have to provide for our families, right? But what does it have to cost us in regard to the true values of family to provide for them? As you can tell I have asked myself these questions. I was really challenged with the thought " Should'nt I Be Creating Our Future?" And "Is'nt it time to stop being directed and take control of our direction?"

In todays world of tremendous influence either good or bad being everywhere, movies, internet, television or radio, being there for my family and probably yours is very important.

It is difficult to explain to our little ones why daddy has to leave when they are just getting ready to GO- GO- GO and you are a BIG part of their BIG plans.

For years I explained that daddy had to go to work so that we can enjoy this nice house, have food to eat, have the nice car we drive.......but to their little minds peanut butter and jelly would be acceptable, the apartment was cool with me and the old van was great.

It really boiled down to where would I place my family and the value of Time Freedom versus being there for them and being able to take time when I needed to. I really had to take a step that changed each of our lives.

When I was first introduced the Home Based Business concept it seemed like a dream come true. How nice would it be to have a 15 second commute (considering gas prices today), be able to have meals with my family daily, enjoy huge tax advantages and build something that I could pass along to my family? It became very evident to me that I needed to loosen up my tie roll up my sleeves and step into a new career.

The great part is if I stopped today we would just continue to receive monthly checks, called residual income. Also, we will pass this business onto our children which will provide for them handsomely.
