Recipe #1: Steamed Tilapia Fish Recipe
Ingredients:
2 pcs tilapia fish
3 tbsp ginger
1 tsp salt
1/2 cup water
5 Tbsp oyster sauce
3 Tbsp leeks
2 Tbsp chopped garlic
2 Tbsp cooking oil
Cooking Directions:
1. Scale, clean and score tilapia. Season with salt. Stuff with half of the ginger and leeks.
2. Steam for 20 minutes. Transfer to a serving platter.
3. To prepare the sauce: in the pan, saute garlic in oil until golden brown. Add the rest of the ginger and leeks. Pour in oyster sauce diluted in 1/2 cup water. Simmer for 3 minutes.
4. Pour mixture over tilapia. Serve hot. Garnish with leeks and ginger.
Recipe #2: Stir Fry Shrimp
Ingredients:
2.2 lbs (55-50 pcs) medium-sized shrimps, washed
1/2 cup barbecue marinade
2 Tbsp cooking oil
1/4 tsp achuete powder
dash of chili sauce, if desired
Cooking Directions:
1. Marinate shrimps in barbecue sauce for 30 minutes.
2. Drain and reserve marinade.
3. Heat oil in a wok, add achuete powder and stir well.
4. Stir in the shrimps, then the reserved marinade. Bring to a boil until the sauce thickens and the shrimps are cooked through.
5. Drizzle with chili sauce.
6. Transfer to a serving dish and serve while hot.
