Stewart and Colbert shows added to Hulu

Video site Hulu is trying to become a premier online site like YouTube, it may not reach Youtube status but it certainly won’t lag far behind. Hulu is backed by premiere TV broadcasting companies such as NBC and News Corp, so it is able to get all the big TV shows from them. The other broadcasting companies have not joined yet but they are releasing videos like Viacom, which released the Comedy Central shows to Hulu.
Hulu announced that it added Jon Stewart’s “The Daily Show” and Stephen Colbert’s “The Colbert Report”. I checked Hulu and found “The Daily Show” has more than 15 full episodes from this season along with popular clips. Same thing with “The Colbert Report”. And hopefully Hulu will add more in the future. These two shows are already available in their parent site ComedyCentral.com, but don’t have embeddable videos, ratings and comments features like Hulu.com. The shows are available in Joost.com but with Hulu, it will get a broad exposure. Hulu also plans to add popular shows from PBS such as Nova, Carrier, Scientific American Frontiers, Wired Science and more. Altogether Hulu offers nearly 70 TV shows most of them with full episodes with ads. The revenue will be shared equally between the producers of the show and Hulu.I couldn't post the Hulu videos here, but you can check it at Hulu.com or a sample page here.

Bueller, I am watching less TV these days, and also no time to watch the online shows. But I am glad they are available, we can watch it any time. When I have free time I am browse them. There are too many shows, too little time.

Funny how you don't really need a tv, radio anymore or newspaper anymore. All you need is a laptop and a big screen to plug it into to get anything you want and bring it wherever you go. I can't help myself, I still like reading the real newspaper more. Nostalgia.
