Stimulus Checks are In The Mail

Finally, those long awaited American Stimulus Checks 2009 from the government are in the mail. Many seniors, SSI recipients, railroad retirees, and disabled veterans will be receiving $250 checks in the next few weeks.  According to the CNN news, 55 million checks are on their way!   Some checks are being mailed and some direct deposits.

I’m inclined to think this was a wise decision to start with the seniors and retirees.

The reason is because most seniors and retirees aren’t presently working, so they are free to begin spending that money immediately, thus putting the money into circulation.  Now, of course, there are many that won’t be spending their checks right away, some may choose to save it.

Many seniors don’t have mortgages to pay, so the extra money can be spent on medicines or other services in the community.  Sure, the $250 isn’t enough to purchase big items, but it can help the local businesses.  Services such as pet grooming or pet supplies, gifts, gardening tools, linens, shoes, clothes, household items, and summer swimming lessons for the grandchildren are just a few of the ways to help economic relief.

Another good reason to start with this group is because they can choose to lend it to their children, who will immediately have plans for spending it, some on those useful items I just mentioned.  Again, stimulating the local economies with a little extra money can be what we need as a nation, giving us the courage and hope we need.

The only thing that will truly save the "economy" is the absorption of the Federal Reserve by the Treasury and the permanent nationalization of the banking system. All money must be printed and controlled by the government as stipulated in the Constitution. The control of the nations money should never have been allowed to fall to private business.

“If the American people ever allow banks to issue their currency, first by inflation and then by deflation, the banks and corporations which will grow up around them will deprive the people of all property, until their children wake homeless on the continent their fathers conquered.” – Thomas Jefferson

“The end of democracy and defeat of the American Revolution will occur when government falls into the hands of the lending institutions and moneyed incorporations. The Bank of the United States is one of the most deadly hostilities existing against the principles and form of our Constitution.

The system of banking is a blot left in all our Constitutions, which if not covered will end in their destruction.

I sincerely believe that banking institutions are more dangerous than standing armies; and that the principle of spending money to be paid by posterity is but swindling futurity. “ Thomas Jefferson

“The real truth of the matter is, as you and I know, that a financial element in the large centers has owned the government of the U.S. since the days of Andrew Jackson.” - Franklin D. Roosevelt

ColdWarBaby.....I think we're already too late for that.....our monetary system is already in the hands of the private owners - and those aren't US citizens! Printing money is easy. It merely takes a handful of people to agree to do it. Now I'm not saying that's the right answer for our economy, I'm merely agreeing that giving it to the people that will put it into circulation was the best choice.

Check out North Dakota and see what they've done with their banking in that state.

They're the only state in the union with a surplus in their budget. All their economic indicators are up and their unemployment is only 4%.
