New Rock/Pop Release- Stockholm Stoner

Stockholm Stoner may not be a familiar name on the rock scene today, but that will change very soon. The band is really a super band of famous Swedish musicians , all very highly acclaimed locally and several worldwide.

The CD is sceduled for release in Scandinavia in September 2008 and will release in the USA in January 2009. It will then be available in most musical retail outlets. You can expect major radio play to precede the CD release and a USA tour to be announced around that time.

The Music on This CD was composed by Mats Ronander, Johan Wahlstrom and Tobbe Stener . The lyrics to the songs were written by Maria Brage, Rick Shadrick and Joe Hrasna.

The Band Members:

Mats Ronander- vocals,guitar and harmonica. During his career he has released over ten solo albums. Hr was a guitar player for Abba on their world tour in the late '70s and '80s.He spent most of 2006 touring Sweden and released a live CD of the show.

Tobbe Stener-Guitar and programming. Tobbe is a very active performer and is widely known as one of the Top Swedish session musicians.

Johan Wahlstrom- Keyboards. Johan has also been a very active and well known performer, touring with Ian Hunter, Mick Ronson and many others. He also has 6 solo albums to his credit. Johan is also a gifted artist. His paintings are exhibeted all over the world.

Karin Risberg-One of the top backup vacalists in Sweden with 2 solo albums.

Magnus Fritz- Drums. Although the youngest member in the band, Magnus is one of the best session drummers in Sweden
