Fully Fashioned Stockings are back!!!!
65
Inspired by an article on the virtues of the nylon slip, I feel it is my duty to highlight a sorely missed item of ladies lingerie, the fully fashioned nylon stocking. Alas, long gone are the days when women would slip into a pair of nylons to start their day. Back in the 50s after the pesky war machine had stopped nicking all the decent nylon for parachutes, was the heyday for this highly seductive hosiery, and we can only look back nostalgically at the style of the 50`s. Conical bras, hour-glass figures, stiletto heels and seamed stockings were all part of a ladies armoury when it came to looking gorgeous. No wonder all those cheesy 50`s ads show men with permanent grins plastered on their faces!
We are now seeing a revival in this look, thanks in no small part to the likes of Dita von Teese and the Burlesque movement. Men all over are rediscovering the delights of old fashioned nylons and loving every minute.
But how do the ladies feel about wearing these wonderfully seductive items? Well reactions are fairly mixed, ranging from delight at having something in the wardrobe that has so much allure, to horror that their man should even suggest dressing in such “slutty” apparel.
One thing remains constant on this issue and that is the universal male appreciation of a woman click-clacking down the street in heels and seams, usually accompanied by wolf whistles and the sound of crunching metal as cars are driven into street lights by boggle eyed men.
What is particularly interesting about nylons is that when it comes to the male appreciation of a well turned leg, less is more. That is to say even the vaguest hint that she may be wearing the elusive nylons is enough to put a man on red hot alert.
So take note ladies, if you want to put a hint of spice into your sex life, slip on a pair of classic seamed nylons and watch him melt before your very eyes.

I must say I agree with all that and glad my slips hub inspired you!
Stockings look nice, but in California many of us just do not wear them. I tan and my legs look like I am wearing stockings, so there is no point really. Also, I do not want to shell out money for something that is going to run.
Yes, I couldnt let the opportunity slip by, (ho ho), any excuse to indulge my peccadillo.
Thats a shame Sweetie Pie. Not for you, for all the guys in CA!! My mum tells me that during war the girls would paint a seam on the backs of their legs to make it look like they were wearing them. Necessity is the mother of etc.
Julie Christie -"Well well you have let out your weakness. you get turned on by sexy legs. I get you. really nice. I love that."
Thanks Julie, you could say that it is my Kryptonite. If I was a man in the 50`s I would certainly have to give up my driving license in the interests of public safety.
I love the look of seams, but those little hook thingies to keep the stockings up are a pain. But I'm guessing mentally undoing them is part of the allure for you, danjutsu, right??? ;}
Bravo....a man of vision! :)
Thank you Tom, I see we have a fellow admirer of the classic nylons, bravo indeed!!
......and thank you JamaGenee, yes the mental pictures of what may or may not be concealed under a skirt are indeed all part of the allure. Is she? or isnt she? oooooooh the sensual mystery of it all!
