StomperNet: Membership in Review
75For well over a year now, people's ears perk up the minute that I tell them that I was in StomperNet. The first question is always:
"Wow!, you pay close to $800/month?"
And the second question is always:
"Was it worth it?"
To answer the first question: YES! It is $800/month, plus I had to pay to get to the seminars that are usually held in Atlanta. That runs me about $1200 each trip out there. So I have spent close to $15,000 in one year to be a StomperNet member.
"Are You Crazy?"
I originally joined back in October 2006. This was about 6 months into my "online marketing career". I was working a standard 9-to-5 job and I was needing a bit of extra cash to pay the mortgage and some nasty medical bills accrued after the birth of my second child. I was doing pretty good at this time, too: I was earning roughly $1000/month as an affiliate marketer. I was loving what I was doing and started to watch these videos from Brad Fallon and Andy Jenkins called Going Natural. This opened my eyes to the potential that my online business had and gave me lots of great ideas to improve my website. I applied some of these free techniques and within 2 weeks, I was ranking in Google, my income was doubling and I was convinced that the right education could lead me further. So I joined as a member.
And those first few months did not disappoint. There were hours and hours of more training. The forum community was great and helpful. And the seminar was mind-blowing. More ideas! Great networking! Awesome content! Insane moral support!
6 months after joining Stompernet, my monthly earning went from $1000/month to $6000/month. My entire membership for the year was now paid off and by the end of March 2007, I had quit my 9-5 job.
Over the past year, I have had my ups and downs as an internet marketer. Still, the earnings continue to grow and the knowledge and networking that I have developed as a result of being a Stompernet member is priceless.
And as I have grown, so has Stompernet. Their staff is full of some of the best known marketers in online business such as:
* Andy Jenkins (Yahoo Stores - StomperNet Co-Creator) * Brad Fallon (eCommerce - StomperNet Co-Creator) * Jerry West (affiliate marketing) * Leslie Rohde (SEO) * Sherman Hu (Blogging) * Don Crowther (Social Marketing) * David Bullock (Conversion) * Andy Edmonds (Technology) * Dan Thies (Pay-Per-Click) * Dave Taylor (Expert Blogger, Speaker, and Lifestyle) * Ed Dale (Website Brokering) * and many other contributors, too!
They provide great tools and services such as link networking, social networking, article distribution, conversion tools and even one-on-one coaching to senior members. And also realize that it caters to "newbies", too, with a Fast Track program created by Frank Kern.
"Was Stompernet Worth It?"
You bet it was! In fact, it probably changed my life more dramatically than anything I have ever done in my life.
