So you want to stop smoking?

So you want to stop smoking? Brilliant!

Being an ex smoker I know hard it is to quit smoking. To stop smoking isn't easy, but when you see the positive effects it has on your health and lifestyle, as long as you keep those facts in yourhead as you quit smoking, you are more likely to stop smoking for good.

I will briefly discuss the positive effects quitting smoking will have on you, and they go into some detail about how you can kick the smoking habit.

Quitting Smoking and The Health Benefits

Whilst you smoke you heighten your risk of developing serious illness, disability, cancer, heart disease, lung disease and death. The mortality rate caused by smoking is extremely high! Quitting smoking will reduce these risks. Even after 24 hours of going smoke free you will reduce your risk of serious illness.

If you have a partner, children or family around you when you smoke you are also increasing their risks of serious or fatal health complications. Children are also prone to developing asthma if they are exposed to your second hand cigarette smoke. Stopping smoking will have positive benefits to theirhealth as well as yours.

Smoking is proven to lower fertility levels. If you're a smoker and you struggle to conceive you could increase your fertility levels and increase your chances of having a healthy pregnancy and baby.

A smokers breathing and fitness will decrease the longer they smoke. If you kick the smoking habit you will increase your fitness and breathing, thus increasing your overall health.

Smoking costs hundreds of pounds. Do your own calculation. Simple write down the average you spend per week on smoking, multiply that by 52, then multiply that by the number of years you have been smoking. You see all that money you have spent in damaging your health? Could you think of any other ways you could have spent that money? Quit smoking, and save alot of money!

How To Stop Smoking

The most common methods to quit smoking is to use patches, gum, sprays, pills or other related drugs. Personally I would advise against these.

Why?

If you use replacements to help you stop smoking the dependency on nicotine is still present. Whilst these methods will increase your health, because you are not intoxicating your body with harmful toxins, you are still feeding your body the nicotine it craves for.

What you need is NLP (Neuro-Linguistic-Programming).

Not many people are aware of this, but NPL is the most successful, and easiest, way to quit smoking. It involves no nicotine replacement or drugs! NLP is an extraordinarily effective and rapid form of psychological therapy that you can teach yourself. This method has been use by millions of smokers to successfully kick the habit.

Why is it effective?

It's effective because it eradicates the usual problems that are associated with quitting smoking such as cravings, short temper, hunger and weight gain.

How can I learn more about NLP?

There's a programme that has been constructed by expert Rob Mello. He has put alot of research and

effort into his programme, and millions have benefited from it and successfully stopped smoking. He uses a stop smoking PDF (electronic book you can read on your computer) and an MP3 to teach you how to quit smoking using NLP. Ready to begin?
