Garden remedies a2z / terminate the little pests

I do not mind the little ant as long as it is in the woods or sand way far from me or my home If the tiny pests are annoying your household here are two sure remedies to end the issue once and for all. These are time, money saving Eco friendly remedies. The third remedy is for garden bug-gers.(snails, cut-worms, slugs or soft bodied insects)

#1. Sprinkle flour in the area the army of ants comes through. You can also sprinkle in the sidewalk cracks, around the edge of the house, driveway, concrete steps, wherever they have an entrance. You do not need much flour. This border they will not risk. They are repelled by flour. If they do cross the border the very breath is sucked from the pests. Sprinkle flour under your cupboard if the pests are entering that a way.

.#2. If there is an army ant pile by your sidewalk, back porch or any other entrance try this terminator. Grab a funnel from your kitchen or garage. If you do not have one you can make one with foil. Boil water. Put the funnel into the ant hole or farm. Take the pan of boiling h2o (use pot holders or oven mitts) pour the very hot h2o into the funnel. The water obviously burns and drowns the pests in one easy quick remedy. The battle is won by you..The ants stop marching on and on who rah, who rah.

#3. These are quick remedies that wipe out snails, cut--worms, slugs, or soft bodied insects on you garden or flower plants. Use safely, wear sun glasses and gloves. Sprinkle a small amount on top of the garden or flower plant the soft body insect is enjoying. Sprinkle ashes around the plants that any snails, slugs or cut-worms are munching on. You can also sprinle ashes around your house to stop the pests The moisture is sucked right out of them bug-ers.

I used to get so upset. I would go outside and there were holes in my Hosta plants .It was then my friend told me of the beer solution. Snails and slugs like beer, alot. They drink and drown..This works , it really does. So next time you drink a beer, save half of a can and pour the remainder around a couple of plants. These time and money saving remedies are tested and approved by myself and others during many gardening years. My Hosta plants are thriving. I wonder why? hmm

These simple remedies are sent with Love. In Joy your gardens Take what you can use, pass it on and leave the rest behind. lol lol Come back soon for more home and garden remedies.

sharing the love

I had heard that about the flour and I can also verify that the beer attracts snails and slugs. I have put it in a shallow dish and the snails climb in and apparently get so tipsy after drinking that they end up drowning. I did not know that just pouring it directly on the ground would have the same effect.

Living in humid Houston, we have lots of little snails everywhere. Wonder what the neighbors will think if our ground starts smelling like a brewery? LOL

I so injoyed your lesson on bugs. Ants especially they tend to march on and on in my kitchen all the time. So thank you for the wonderful advice I will gladly try it. Also you write beautifully and I know I will love reading your hubs.
