This is just a few of the many strange and wacky uses for common household products. There are literally hundreds, but I decided to profile a few of the less commonly known ones that caught my attention.

Did you know that bounce repels mosquitoes? Just put a sheet through your belt loop, and never worry about mosquitoes again.

Did you know that you can use coca cola to remove grease from work clothes?

Just empty a can of coke into the washer when it's filling up, then add your detergent and clothes. And wash as usual, the coca cola will help loosen the grease.

Did you know that cool whip makes an awesome treatment for dry hair? Once a week apply 1/2 cup of cool whip to your hair, then wrap your head in a towel and leave on for 3o minutes. Be sure to rinse your hair a couple of times before shampooing thoroughly.

Draw a line around windows and doors,for some reason ants will not cross a chalk line.

Not only is yogurt good to eat it also works great to sooth a sunburn. Just spread plain yogurt on your burn and allow to set for approx. 20 minutes before bathing or showering in cool water.

To sooth a sore throat mix together

2 TBS. Mustard

Cover and let cool for 15 minutes before gargling.

Dehydration is the primary cause of a hangover so drinking gatorade which is absorbed more quickly into the body than water or fruit juice will have you feeling better in no time at all.

First take two gulps of vodka then splash some more over the sting to neutralize it. You should start feeling better before long but may later have to follow this step with the gatorade cure.
