Of all the strange things produced, clocks have been one of them. Designers find all sorts of ways to stay from the norm of Clock production. So can be seen with the number of weird clocks I’ve found while searching the net. The following is a review of a few of them I’ve found. This includes a crazy game clock, a computer hard drive clock, and of course the strangest of all, a water power clock.

The Ping Pong Clock

The ping pong clock is an ever going ping pong game that keeps track of time by the score. At midnight the score will be 00:00. As the first minute passes one side will lose making the score 00:01. This continues every minute until the hour passes when the score will suddenly be 01:00. This continues each hour until midnight again.

What is great about this clock? It gives you a better reason to stare at the time. It is probably not a good idea to install these in schools where even more students will be staring at the time.

The Hard Drive Clock

The hard drive clock is a hard drive that spins around in circles as if its currently reading data. Beams of different colored light tell the time. It looks cool in the dark but it is a bit hard to see in daytime light. The other disadvantage from this interesting little clock is that it is really noisy. Can you imagine hearing a noisy hard drive all day long?

The Water Power Clock

This clock is power by water. That’s right, you have to keep water in it to keep it going. On top of that you can keep a flower inside and know that it is always fully watered. The design is nothing out of the ordinary, just make sure there is always water inside or it will stop working.
