Australia's Corey Delaney out of control
Corey Delaney, a sixteen year old Australian is in a lot of trouble now with his parents and possibly the police after holding a party at his house that got out of control.
It is a scene that probably could have occured anywhere in the world, but probably because the internet and SMS texting was involved to promote the party, the story has made it to page one news around the globe.
Police were called in with dogs and a helicopter to break up the teen party. They were pelted with bottles and are now threatening to charge the family $20,000 for damage done to police vechiles.
The boy's parents were holidaying on the Gold Coast when the party took place.
Corey has since been on a number of current affairs shows and has even received job offers as a party promoter.

Hitwise Australia has report that Corey Delaney was one of the mostly highly searched terms since his party that got broken up by the police. He is now doing deals with marketing and promotion companies to promote their products.

I agree that it is his arrogance and his attitude that has irked so many people. I don't think though that he was any different from teenagers a generation ago.
Well he's got is moment of fame- he's got to be stoked - if the media hadn't got involved in might have been a totally different storey- I hope his parents make him pay for the damage
He's now been charged about child pron - which at least means he cant now make any money out of the 'fame" because there is a law in Oz prohibiting people from profiting from their crimes
I think he has no respect. Not for his parents, neighbours or himself. He is now so caught up in being the life of the party but all he is doing is ruin his future. He will never be respected by adults because of his immaturity and stupidity. And for those wise teens like myslef, we see him as a stupid, rude, immature little boy who needs to learn to respect. And he is ruining how everyone looks at teens. He is ruining our teenage reputation. But i am proud to be able to say that the majority of us are not like that, we are sensible enough to respect others and respect ourselfs and our own reputation.
I hope he smartens up his act for his own benefit.
The inverviewer in this annoys me. How else is a teenager going to respond to an adult being condescending like that other than being belligerent? Clearly he's just a dumb 16 year old but still, it's not really this womans place to speak to him in that way, imo. She's just trying to provoke him.

I think he is a bit of a loser, and if he were my son, well, I can't say what I do, here. His arrogance after it all is somewhat typical of the many teenagers who don't see the point of having rules, laws, etc, and he doesn't impress me.
