75Stress reducers are important and this is a quick stress reducer that you can do anytime that you feel stress overtaking you. Close your eyes and inhale deeply through your nose for five seconds, hold that breath for three seconds and then exhale through your mouth for seven seconds. Repeat to yourself the phrase "I am relaxing". Allow your shoulders and chin drop. You will feel the relaxation taking over and the stress being reduced. Continue this process until you are completely relaxed and your stress is reduced.
Try to take short breaks when you are working. At least once each hour, get up, move around and stretch. This is necessary to prevent tension and stiffness from setting in and it also helps to clear and rest your mind. You won’t feel as much stress if you take these mini breaks during the day.
