Stress Relief Techniques

Quick, On-The-Spot Stress Relief Techniques

It is not always easy to take a break and apply your favorite stress relief technique, like yoga, so here are some techniques that you can do at your work desk or in your car.

  1. Deep Breathes - That's it, breathe in.......breathe out.....repeat a handful of more times, that should help you feel better and more relaxed.
  2. Journaling - This is great to do at work, but in the car you can either pull over or use a memo recorder to record your thoughts.
  3. Listen to Music - Play some relaxing music that will calm you down and relax you.
  4. Laughter - Go to YouTube.com or put in a comedy CD and laugh your butt off. You will definitely feel better after a good laugh.

These are not all of the stress relief techniques that you could use, but ones that can be put to use in a moments notice and with not a lot of attention brought on you.

I would think it would as anything that takes the edge off would be helpful. Just eat it in moderation though, eating Jenny Craig would be stressful for me!

It would be me too! We just ate dinner and had boiled potatoes, black eyed peas, fried oaka, home made biscuits, and refrigerator pickles and strawberry cake for dessert. Not quiet Jenny LOL
