60In our fast paced world, stress is commonplace for many. For smokers, cigarettes have always been the solutions to feelings of stress, anxiety and anger, so when the habit is kicked, stress becomes the top problem for the quitter, much more than all other stop smoking symptoms.

Cut your caffeine intake to a minimum. Better yet, put a complete stop to it if possible. Once you’ve completely thrown cigarettes out the door you’ll be able to drink coffee again, though you’ll probably not drink as much as you used to.
Last but certainly not least, get enough sleep and try exercising. Both effectively help contain all stop smoking symptoms, but are especially beneficial when it comes to stress.
