Stretch YouTube Videos To Fit the Browser Window, Better Than Full Screen

This is a tutorial how to watch the YouTube video in maximum size format and still be able to access others window applications and browser tabs. Currently watching YouTube video in maximum mode limits only the use of the video not any other programs.

In any YouTube vide, there is a button at the bottom of the video which enables us to watch the video either in regular size or to fit the whole computer screen. However the big problem when watching the video in full screen makes it impossible to access other functions in Windows. Of course you can pause it and hit the escape button, there is an alternate way that avoids this last step.

Here I posted the “Free Hugs campaign” video as an example. In the old way you can click the buttons at the bottom of the player to watch it in maximum size and hit escape button to access other application and browser tabs. The new way works as follows:

1. The URL link for this video is: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vr3x_RRJdd4

2. To fit this video in your browser window to the maximum do the following: http://www.youtube.com/v/VIDEO_ID, in our example it will be http://www.youtube.com/v/vr3x_RRJdd4.

3. When you click the last link, you will get the maximum size video in your browser.

4. Another advantage with this step, when you resize the browser the video also changes proportionally. No need to hit the escape button anymore, you can multi task when browsing the web.

Give it a try; it is much better experience than the full version.
