An Interview With Gloria and Kyle Rideneour

I sat down, the other day, with Gloria and Kyle Ridenour to talk with them about weight-loss. They are friends of mine and they went from an average couple in their 30's to looking like they'd come straight of the cover of a Health Magazine using the "Strip That Fat" diet program. So rather than another blah, blah review of the "Strip That Fat" diet program I thought I'd let you here their experience.
Why Lose Weight.
C: Hi, Gloria and Kyle, you guys look fabulous. What have you been doing?
G: Well, Christian, Kyle and I been eating better and taking care of ourselves.
K: What she means is we've been on a diet.
C: Kyle, What prompted you to make these changes in your lifestyle?
K: It really started out when I had my last check-up and the doctor told me that my blood pressure was high and that my cholesterol ratio was bad. I didn't understand the details of what he was trying to explain, but I got the message that a whole boatload of garbage was headed my way if somethings didn't change. I asked him what I should do and he started listing off drugs that he'd give me and about half-way through that spiel he suddenly stopped and took of his glasses. "You know Kyle", he said, "If you just lost weight and ate better you wouldn't need half these drugs. That's when it hit me.
C: What about you Gloria?
G: The funny thing is, I did it just because he was going to do it, and, boy, am I glad I did.

How Is It Working For You?
C: I understand that you used the "Strip That Fat" diet program. Could you tell me a how it has been working for you?
G: Sure, I have been losing between 1 1/2 to 2 pounds a week pretty steadily. We've have been on it for 3 months and I have lost 22 pounds. I am feeling fabulous and full of energy.
C: Isn't that a pretty slow weight loss.
G: It depends on how you look at it. A couple of years ago I was on Weight Watchers and I lost 5 pounds in about 4 months. When I first started "Strip That Fat" I lost a lot the first week, but after that it has stabilzed. When I reasearched what a healthy weight loss should be the consensus is that you shouldn't lose more than 2 to 3 pounds a week or you might be losing weight from something other than your fat.
C: And kyle, what has your experience Been?
K: I have lost a little bit more than Golria, I have lost 30 pound to date and I am still going to lose a bit more.
A Walk Through "Strip That Fat"
C: Could you walk me through the program?
K: Sure, "Strip That Fat" is basically a website and an eBook that outlines the program. Or if you do like Golria and I, you can go platinum and you'll get a second diet book, a calorie worksheet, and a 30 healthy meal plan book. The website part has a great menu planner where you can plan your meals with foods you choose. That is what I liked best.
C: Gloria, How much does all of this cost?
G: Well, let me tell you first that the menu planner was not Kyles favorite part. Kyle is a born skeptic and He loved the money back Guarantee that came with the diet. As to the cost of the program that was $57 to join.
C: How much is the monthly charge?
G: There isn't any. There is just a one time fee of $57. Oh, and it only cost $47 if you choose the gold membership.
C: You mentioned that Kyle loved the guarantee, what was special about this guarantee?

Drawbacks
C: What are the drawbacks to "Strip That Fat"?
K: Every diet has its drawbacks and "Strip That Fat" is no exception. It isn't automatic, you have to stick with it or you'll fail. There are no "magic pills" or special fat burning supplements with this diet. And you do not get your food delivered to you, but it is a lot cheaper than those type of diets and you do learn a lot about nutrition. I think I have learned enough to keep this weight off--I hope.
G: It does require some effort, but there really isn't a diet out there that is legitimate that doesn't require effort. Also the weight-loss is slower than some of the other popular diets, but from what I have read this is actually a good thing and you can stay on this diet for any length of time since it is only a one time fee.
C: Is there anyone to whom you wouldn't recommend this diet?
G: Yes, I wouldn't recommend it to someone who has only a few pounds to lose. They could just use the Fruit Flush Diet, or The Cabbage Soup Diet and you can find those for free on the web.
K: I agree with Gloria, but if you have 10 or more pounds that you would like gone, then "Strip That Fat" is a good option.

G: There is a free report there also. No one should start a diet they are not comfortable with, and even though this diet works for Kyle and me, it might not fit everyone.
