Orbit Baby Infant System
The Orbit Baby high end stroller system is geared toward infants and has one of the best designs for infant mobility. The infant carrier docks easily into a base secured into the car with latch or seat-belts, and rotates on the stroller 360 degrees. The baby can sit forward facing, rear facing or even sideways. This is especially convenient when using the stroller in a restaurant and you want the baby facing you and the table.
- 360 degree seat rotation.
- Infant carrier seat easily lifts and carries with soft handles.
- Lightweight
- Clean design.
- Fits infants to 29" (most infant systems fit 26-27")
- Soft and machine washable seat cover.
- Parent cup holder (most high-end strollers do not have this).
- $900 USD

Good luck with the search, Peter!
Great information, but there is no mention of the Quinny...
Thanks, christencox - I may update this hub with other high-end strollers on the market, or just do a part 2. When I have more time I'll research it. Thanks for the info and the comment! =)
I love the fact the bugaboo comes with a CD for installation instructions. one of the common gripes about them is the complexity involved in the setup. The great thing about most of these high end strollers is the fact they can accomodate babies from infancy to 4 yo....and tihnk about it $0.73 a day could be $0.36 or even $0.18 a day with 2 or 3 kids ;)
Not bad recomendations, but your really missing out if you don't try the Peg Perego Skate stroller. This thing is amazing! Much more flexible pram to stroller conversion, has more storage, and handles better than anay of the high end strollers I tried from Bugaboo, McLaren, and Quinny.
Yep - it costs loads for a decent pram / stroller - I forked out for a bugaboo but saved loads of money on accessories by shopping here http://www.toffeeappleworld.co.uk/about-other-pram
