Now this is getting more interesting. Today I came across the term 'structured settlements' which is among one of the highest paying keywords. Almost ten related keywords pays more than 50 Dollars Per Click! I wonder who pays money like that! This article can be considered as a sequel to my earlier one on Top Paying Insurance Keywords.
I gather that its a legal term. So most probably it will be the giant legal firms who pays that much amount of money to advertise on the web. No wonder they overcharge and gets no one's sympathy. I have read a lot of jokes on lawyers and really enjoyed some of them.
Coming back to structured settlements, they are sometimes called periodic payments too. Structured settlement is a financial or insurance arrangement, including periodic payments, that a claimant accepts to resolve a personal injury claim or to compromise a statutory periodic payment obligation.
Well, my point is, if those figures I found do not lie, then publishers with good traffic and a decent click through rate can make a fortune through adsense, writing about structured settlements. The top paying keywords include structured settlement sale, structured settlement money, etc. Below is a list I have compiled for your reference which pays more than 10 dollars a click. Thanks SunSeven! Amazingly interesting! Other keywords are just 'peanuts' comparable with these legal terms. I can understand Paul McCartney and his divorce much better, now. As you'd said, reputation of legal business is really very low...

Thank you Lela, ervinGPD, Marye and glassvisage. But the fact is that Google will take the lion's share of these amounts! Its easy to find if you do a bit of experiments and research with the Google Adwords tool.
The reasons the keywords are so expensive is because of the competitive nature of the Structured Settlement Factoring industry. Structured Settlements provide injury victims, medical accident victims and others with periodic payments from a major financial settlement. Because situations change, the periodic payments (usually monthly) may not be enough to meet current financial responsibilities. Structured Settlement Factoring companies offer lump sum cash at a discount for the payment stream. In the best case scenario it can be a win-win for all parties.
It isn't lawyers who are doing that, it's structured settlement factoring companies like J.G. Wentworth and 123LumpSum.
Lawyers don't profit from a structured settlement, nor do they profit when someone sells their structured settlement, which is what JGW does: buy the rights to people's future payments.
I'm one of the people in this business and what has been written here to date is correct. I often wonder how a structured settlement holder who wants to sell payments can get a fair amount of money with advertising and other costs as high as they are. I have been told that one of the companies mentioned, pays more than $100,000 to Google a month. Unbelievable! Some of us in the business work hard to keep cost down and provide the best deal for the customer. I agree with Kyle its not the lawyer, but the large factoring companies.
