Student loans

There are a couple of loans that you could be using, depending on your situation, here are the following:

  • pell grants - this are not loans, but as the name implies, they are grants - money that you don't have to give back and you may take advtange of it, if you're having financial need and your family could not afford to repay a loan or something like that - your not going to get as much money as a stafford loan, but there are good money to take in order to make a good thing about this and go to college. You could also take some sort of part time job or do some freelancing during college in order to be sure you're willing to have all the money to pass college
  • stafford loans - this type of loans are given by the government - most of the students could apply to them - the main difference is that you may be paying some interest through college or not. If you prove you have some financial need then you may not pay interest through college and it will be easier for you. But, if you really need the money you could get a job and pay the interest using that job money - or with your parents help.
  • private student loans for people with bad credit or no credit history - there is always an alternative if you can't afford a job or the money from the loan is not enough for you. There are a lot of private lenders (even banks) that are there in order to help you with some extra money, altough it could be a little complicated if you have bad credit or no credit history at all - there are some risks on the lenders part and the interest on private students loans is going to be bigger from the stafford loans and federal loans - you get why.
