Firstly I'd like to say I am currently in my final year at Neuroscience and I have my final exams in about 2 weeks fro Sensory Neuroscience & Psychopharmacolgy. I'll soon be posting some Hubs on the auditorty system taste, olfaction and then move onto smoking, alcohol, cocaine and other drugs that are involved in the psychology of addiction.

I came across Hubpages and have posted a few things and now I am going to use this great tool for revision.

If any students have exams coming up then why not use Hubpages yourself.

Rewrite lecture notes in your own words - This will really help you undertsand the topic. Get them from your lecture notes aswell as books and put them all together. Make sure it is flwoing and easy to read for fellow hubbers

Rewrite your information into a form easily readable - Your topic maybe complex and would be very hard to read to someone that is not familiar with the topic at such detail. You should try and make it read for an intelligent person but that has no idea about the subject. Introduce the subject well and include a glossary or explain certain words.

Write exam questions - You can answer exam questions or write short essays which maybe in your exam. Again try and expalin everything in detail or make it easy to read for us Hubbers.

Write lay commentaries - In science degrees there are a lot of experiments and studies in the field. You can pick out a journal and summarise it in your owns words. You can pretend you are writing a section in New Scientist or the science section in The Times. Any articles or studies in your subject area you can re-write. Here you can add your own twist to it and be creative.

Write how to's - If you need to revise certain things like maths or statisitics and need to learn formulas or anything else ou can make a simple version of it and post here. An example being how to use Prism for a Student t test. (I might create a hub like this later on).

Draw diagrams and mind maps to help you revise. Use these in your hubpages too.

My tips - make sure you make a timetable and have a good nights sleep before your exams. (Studies show that sleep is important in memory formation. Check out Nature Neuroscience for more details.).

You should use hubpages as you can earn some money from Google Adsense aswell as ebay and amazon. This should keep you motivated and help you wrtie more articles which should help with your revision.
