Created by a dental hygienist, Joann Daugherty, it is a useful tool for flossing your teeth while in braces.
The rigid plastic tip has floss attached. The plastic tip can bend in any direction and hold is shapes so you can reach all areas of the mouth. Simple, easy, fast and cheap!
Why floss while wearing braces?
It is very important to brush and floss while wearing braces. Food and bacteria gets pushed between the teeth everytime you eat, so if you do not floss it will continue to sit there andeat away at your teeth. Cause decay, holes in your teeth and bad breath.
Fluoride is also important to use while wearing braces. The fluoride will neutralize the plaque acids in your mouth, helping to prevent decay.
