A Stutterer's Story
In this sometimes emotional personal account, Dr Frederick Murray PhD tells his own story of dealing with his stutter as a child. Regrettably, this guide by Australian Human Consultant and stutterer, Nicholas Tunbridge, is currently out of print, but should be available from libraries and through health care providers. Having suffered from a stutter throughout his life, the author takes the reader through how he has personally managed to take the lessons learned in therapy, and apply them practically to “real life”. He also goes on to explain how he has dealt with certain situations at work and interviews and the like, and suggests how these can be dealt with successfully.
