I have experienced many failures in life, countless of them. Be it from my childhood to adult years. The common failure most of us experienced, and I for one is work related. This is when we are employed in any company especially with high expectations from our employers and or bosses. We may have one immediate superior at work but we also work with and for many other bosses. As the saying goes “we cannot please everybody”. If we cannot deliver the best results, we fail. Much more if it is not the right or correct end product of our work or services. It is a total devastation!

There are superiors who are considerate and kind enough to tell you that you committed a mistake or your work is unsatisfactory. But there are also some who have no patience and diplomacy to tell you about your mistake/s. Sometimes, they can be rude and at worst tell you “ you’re a failure” or “you’re fired” !!!

I do not know if you agree with me if you happen to read this, or even experienced it.

As for me, it is a matter on how we manage this kind of situation that amidst “failure” we can still rise up, walk heads up and correct whatever mistakes.

When we are about to apply for work, get a job and get employed – we have to “expect the worst and hope for the best”. We are not perfect nor the people around us. But we can be somebody that we wish to be. It always depends on how we manage ourselves and in any circumstances that will come our way.

If we cannot correct our mistakes with our present employer, we can always correct it on the next one. Though, we can always correct a mistake in any way at the time we’ve committed it, unless otherwise, if our immediate superior will tell us that they do not want us anymore and they do not have the luxury to keep us in their company. Then, in this way, have our luck in our next employer. But again, we have to refrain from committing a mistake in any work we do.

We always fail when we commit mistakes. But mistakes are NOT and NEVER are obstacle to success and achievement in the future. It is always a key to achieve any success in life. :-)
