Great For A Hot Day

This was something that my old gym used to serve up. It's a good way to get your blood sugar up after a workout. It's not really a recipe as such, more an idea on how to make really healthy smoothie

The secret to making these is using frozen fruit. All these are is frozen fruit and yoghurt.

What I did would be buy a mango, pineapple, bananas, frozen berries and come up with combos. I would cut up the fruit and bag them into portions - then I could just grab a couple of bags and make the smoothie of my choice.

All you do is put some fruit in a blender with a pot of yoghurt. Blend until the fruit lumps have been broken down and presto - instant sugar-free fruit smoothie!

Some good combos are:

Mango and Pineapple

Berry Surprise - Strawberry, Raspberry and Blueberry

Strawberry and Banana

I'm sure that you don't need me to give you ideas. You are only limited by the fruit you can get your hands on!
