Sullivan Wins People's Choice Award for "Shoes"

OmG! Shoes!
Liam Sullivan is sketch comedy artist and aspiring actor from the Boston area who has appeared in small roles in television shows and film (most noteably in Vh1's "I Hate My 30's"), but in the past couple of years has made a name for himself as that lovable deadpan betch, Kelly. He started making his own characters and threw himself up on Youtube in videos such as "Shoes", and "Cunningham Muffins".
For "Shoes," the first of Sullivan's shorts to grab mainstream attention, he transformed himself into Kelly
"I'm a very strange person," said Sullivan. "I don't fit a lot of the roles you see on TV or movies. No one is going to cast me as a teenage girl -- it just made sense to start writing (roles) for myself."
Last night, Shoes won a People's Choice Award for Favorite User Generated Video. A great accomplishment for Sullivan and sure to garner him even more fans with the extra exposure... not that he needed any if Youtube has anything to say about it. Congratulations, betch!
Be sure to go and check out YouTube for his acceptance speech videos and of course, Shoes (and all the others).
