Sundays have always been special to me. It is a day to pay extra attention to our Lord.

Do you doubt God loves you. O.k. Just think of this:

You are marvellously put together, a wonder to behold.

You have the ability to procreate, not even God's angels can do that.

You have all your senses:

Feeling: Happiness, sadness, pain, heartache and love.

Hearing: The sounds around us, you can hear a heartbeat, the wind in the trees.

Seeing : All the beauty around us, the sky, the smile of a friend.

Smell: the wonderful smell of Mom's baking, the fresh air after a rain

Taste: all our good food, the first cup of coffee in the morning,

And our brain, what amazing abilities this gives us.

These are just a few of the many things we have been blessed with. Let us appreciate them and give thanks to out maker with all our hearts.

An old hymn says this:

Oh Jesus, with your eyes you have searched me,

And while smiling, have spoken my name.

Now my boats left on the seashore behind me

By your side - I will seek other seas

I find this so encouraging. There is hope for this old world yet.
