Healthy, Simple, Ready in Minutes
The great thing about this super simple pasta recipe is that you can add whatever you want to improve upon it, but even just the basic recipe is phenomenal.
You'll need: Pasta (I prefer 100% whole wheat), olive oil, lemon juice, pepper, minced garlic, & whatever cooked veggies you'd like.
Cook and drain the pasta. Drizzle with olive oil and lemon juice to taste. Add pepper andminced garlic to taste. Throw in cooked veggies if you'd like. I like to add olives, broccoli, squash, asparagus & artichoke hearts, but if you leave it plain it tastes great, too!
Want some protein? Grill some chicken and toss it in!

I am 100% on the whole wheat pasta kick. Why waste the opportunity for health otherwise? (plus I am diabetic, so whole wheat pasta makes so much more sense than the other). I cook noodles 2 times a week. Usually with a light sauce. great hub! Steph
