When multiple sites require passwords, remembering them becomes a huge headache. There are number of tools that offers great help, but you have to install programs in order to recall. Imagine if we just had one password across all sites, that would be an ideal solution, only problem if someone steals it or hacks it then we will lose it all.SuperGenPass solves that problem by having one master password and protecting it across all sites by creating a unique password based on that master password.

SuperGenPass is a bookmarklet (a bookmark consisting mostly of JavaScript code) that uses a master password as a seed to create passwords for different sites. The nice thing is that the script generates the same password for a domain, but the process is unidirectional: you can't obtain the master password from a generated password. It's also cool that your master password is not stored anywhere (unless you want it to be stored in the bookmarklet).

The script works for any browser, but for Internet Explorer it needs to download some JavaScript code because of IE's limitations. If you don't want to rely on that site, you can save it to your site.

Before you start using this, you have to change the password of the each site. But once you choose a master password, then you can change other passwords quickly.

Follow these steps:

1. Build a SuperGenPass Bookmarklet

Here you tell which browser you are going to use, what is the size of the passwords required (6 to 20 Characters). It will generate a Javascript code. It will create a Bookmarklet, save it as a bookmark by clicking the right mouse and save it in your Favorites folder

2. Go to the site

* type the username and the master password when you log in

* click on the bookmarklet [extra-click]

* click on "Populate" similar to enter [extra-click]

* submit the form

That's it, you are done with two clicks, no software is necessary and no stored password is required. The bookmarklet creates a tough password, it will be difficult to break. Whenever you go to that particular site, the bookmarklet remembers the domain and you can "populate" that password by clicking it. You can store this bookmarklet in your USB drive or in Google Bookmarks (which saves all your passwords and access it anywhere).

They also have a mobile version, you can create or use this bookmarklet, so you can enter passwords without remembering the site's passwords.

No need of remembering except your main master password, which you should keep it secret and tough as possible. Even if the site gets hold of the generated password, they won't be able to find the Master password. I am going to use this for all the new sites. They are also working on one common user id, OpenID, so you can use the same ID and Password across many sites.

I use it for a few sites, and it is really helpful. When you log back in it remembers the same password. Highly encrypted and unbreakable.
