Are You Considering a Direct Sales Venture?

Oh what a difference a year makes! One moment we're set for retirement and the next moment we're wondering where it all went and what are we going to do? You may be sitting there thinking that there is no other choice but to go back to work. Who's going to take us at this age? I know they can't ask me how old I am, but they have eyes and ears...I think they might be able to figure it out.

Many companies will embrace the more mature individual and be extremely delighted to have the experience and loyalty that long term employees can bring to the table. It's a bit of a crap shoot whether we can find the right company or not, but obviously we're going to try if that's what we have to do. What if there is another alternative?

Why you should consider Direct Sales:

Reason #1:

The industry has been highly and effectively regulated such that there are many legitimate businesses that have opted into marketing their opportunity via network marketing and distributorship. It's amazing to see the success that is attainable through having your own business opportunity and running it your way. Not all companies give you the flexibility to operate your business your way, but many do.

Reason #2:

You and I have been around a long time and we've made a lot of acquaintances along the way. Please understand, I'm not advocating that you hound your family and friends, to the contrary that's the quickest way to shut down the communication. I do recommend that you let people know that you started a new business and give them a card for contact purposes...that's it! Let them ask the questions. You're there to help if you need to.

Reason #3:

The information is out there; do the research and make sure the company you're looking at has been around for a while (say 5 to 10 years). Make sure you read the information carefully...look for objections and complaints. If you only find a few objections, and it looks like they've been around a while, contact a representative and talk with them about the venture. Ask the questions and see if the opportunity is a fit for you! The opportunity I chose is with a company that has been around for approximately 10 years. They offer high end products with a 50% commission on most. As a representative, I'm able to make price adjustments to suit the economy, there are no quotas, and if I find this opportunity is not for me; I can quit at any time. They've kept the start-up and auto-ship so low that it is easy to make that money off of product sales without much effort. If this sounds like something that would interest you please visit My Opportunity here.

Reason #4:

The training is available! It's not just good training, its great training and your sponsor should be able to help you find it. You're not alone trying to make this work and with your experience you CAN make this happen! I would love to introduce you to this outstanding training. Pick a company that fills you with passion:

Whatever you do, pick an opportunity that interests you and gives you joy to pursue and present! Joy is infectious! Enthusiasm for your business and the opportunities it presents for you and others should get you excited. If it doesn't, don't go with that venture; no matter how good it sounds. It would be a waste of your time, in the long run, if you really didn't love what you were doing.

Sharing Opportunities

I'd love to talk with you about starting your own business. The training I talked about earlier is the training I will coach you with.

Will it take time? Yes.

Does it cost money? Yes, there is no legitimate business that can be built for free. I can promise you this.

My Mom used to say, "If they give you something for nothing, that's exactly what you'll get...nothing." What's important is that you spend your money wisely, you use your time prudently, and you work within a budget that you can afford as you build your business.
