That was then...during the Barack Obama 2008 US presidential campaign...

The days and hours to the United States Presidential election are rapidly approaching. When I see reports of the McCain presidential campaign gaining momentum I become very nervous.

I can remember the day that George W. Bush won the presidential elections and John Kerry quit the fight. I'm sure very few people wish to re-live the that day's experiences!

I'm from the United States and live abroad. I'm so fed up with people from other countries reacting in a negative way when I tell them where I'm from. I'm proud to be an American. America is the country that gave my grandparents a place to go when nobody else wanted them.

I am 100% for Barack Obama - Joe Biden. The United States needs a president which has intelligence and confidence, one who has a clear vision for how to guide our country after all these years of war and economic hardship.

Our country has been mis-guided by the Bush family for way too long. It would be such a shame to see John McCain and Sarah Palin step into power. The say they are for "reform" but we know this is just campaign rhetoric and we will see coninuations of many of the policies we've seen over the past eight years.

With the election drawing so close you may also want to wear your Obama T-Shirt to remind all of your friends to vote for Barack.
