"Survey Sites that Pay?" This is the exact question I began asking myself several months ago as I started seeing more and more ads for "paying surveys". The answer I have found is "YES" there are sites out there that are legitimate and that do pay cash along with many other great incentives.

The purpose of this hub is to give you a resource for good sites that can be trusted and used for your enjoyment and profit. All the sites listed here I personally have used and have gotten rewards or cash for participating in their surveys, focus groups, and product tests.

Before you begin

It is important that I point out that doing surveys can take up a good amount of your time but if your patient you may get rewarded even more. There are many sites out there telling you that you can get rich quick just by answering a couple of question. This is true only under one circumstance and that is when you win one of the large cash prizes from a sweepstakes held by that particular site. These cash sweepstakes can rang from $50 all the way up to $50,000. ($50,000 is the highest amount I have personally seen but there may be others sites out there that offer even bigger cash prizes).

How will I get rewarded?

There are basically three ways in which these sites reward their panelists:

  1. There are payments made to you by check which can be redeemed for cash at your local bank or a direct deposit into your PayPal account. The most cash I have personally made on a single survey was $8.00, not bad for 10 min. of point and click. (On occasion some sites may charge you a processing fee to send you a payment by check or to deposit funds into your PayPal account.)
  2. They will give you points that can be redeemed for cash or prizes. Each site is different in the way they award points and what the points equal to when traded in for cash. For example...one site offers 10 points per survey taken, which equals out to be $.10. The points for prizes come in two different formats. 1.The points may be used to buy a specific prize such as a gift card or an MP3 player. 2. The points are used to enter drawing for larger prize items such as cash, electronics, $500 gift cards, vacations, and other higher end merchandise.
  3. They may give you entries into daily, bi-weekly, weekly, bi-monthly, or monthly sweepstakes for cash prizes. As stated above these sweepstakes may yield you the most cash for your time spent. If you only did one survey for a site and won the sweepstakes for $25,000 I would say that it was time well spent wouldn't you?

Caution

There are a few things that you should watch out for when signing up for a survey site:

  1. NEVER give any site your social security number, no matter what their reasons on the site are for needing it. If they state that it is needed to pay you your reward, RUN!! This site is most likely an identity stealing scam.
  2. NEVER pay any site to take surveys. There are a few sites out there that ask you to pay them $25 upfront to send you surveys. The site states that the fee will give you exclusive access to the best and most profitable surveys. This is a lie! These sites usually send you the same surveys that the free sites do but pocket most of the cash rewards for themselves. If you took a survey through them and they offered you $1 for completing it, the true value of the survey most likely is around $5.

Thanks for the information on which survey sites pay. I am always looking for ways to make money online. I have tried surveys with no luck, but I will look into these.

Thanks for reading my hub. I figure what is success in something if you don't share it with others.
