movie critique: Wall E
53Date Movie in Disguise
"Wall E" which was the number one movie at the box office the week end before last rightly deserved that spot. "Wall-E" is about a a robot left alone on earth with only his friend, a cockaroach, to keep him company. When Eve drops into his live they shake each other's lives up as well as all the people that they encounter.
There isn't much to say about acting because it is an animated film but I enjoyed the story. The movie was a combination romance, comedy, animation, environmental, and kids film all rapped into one thus it is good for everyone. The romantic aspect of the film comes from the relationship that develops between Wall-E and Eve. He cares for her and opens her eyes to the ways of moving beyond the strick plans of the well formulated. Then there is the comedy which is beyond the gross out humor that still plagues many comedies of the day. Further the environmental part of the movie does stick out with the way the begins and how it ends. Finally it is a kids film which teaches children life lessons and tries to stir them in the right direction.
I don't know what to say but go and have a look for yourself when you have the time, it may also be good for a date.
