Swimming Pool Heat Pump

If you're considering your swimming pool heating options, is a good option with a lot to offer. In this article I'm going to be talking about how these heat pumps work, their advantages over traditional gas powered heaters, their relative disadvantages, and why I think they are a viable option for you. I'm also going to give you a link to a website where you can buy them with a 30% discount.

He pumps work by transferring heat from one substance to another. Swimming pool he pumps work with the air surrounding them and water from your pool. They worked like air conditioning in reverse -- they take the air that surrounds them, condense it, and then transfer its heat into the water from your pool, which circulates through a heat exchanger system.  You don't need to worry about the making your garden cold, because the air circulates due to the wind and warm air rushes in to take space off the cold air.

This machine is powered by electricity, and the process is a lot cheaper than burning propane fuel to heat your pool. It is these lower costs, and the greener way that the energy is used, with less carbon emissions, that makes swimming pool heat pumps such an attractive pool heating method.

However, this system is not without its disadvantages. The biggest disadvantage is that it relies upon the heat that is in the air around the unit. This is fine during most of the year, but during the cold months it could struggle to heat your pool to an acceptable level. One option is to buy the biggest, most powerful heat pump system that you can afford, but when you do this you will be getting more than you need from most of the time.  The second disadvantages is cost. A swimming pool heat pump is a lot more expensive than a gas powered heater, although as I have mentioned it is a lot cheaper to run. You could spend up to $3000 a year with a gas heater, so the higher expense of a swimming pool heat pump is quickly nullified after a few years by the savings that you make in that time.

Because this type of heater sometimes struggles during colder months, people often use it together with a gas powered heater which works as a backup. Most of the time a gas powered heater doesn't need to do anything, but during the coldest months of the year the propane heater system can be turned on and it will provide the extra heat energy needed to make your pool nice and warm. The swimming pool heat pump will still provide a lot of energy during these times, so the expense of your winter pool heating bill will be much lower than it otherwise would have been.

Some people this is a problem because they are quite happy to avoid using the pool during the heart of winter, and only really interested in using it while the climate is warm.

Overall, people that use swimming pool heat pumps report that they have much lower heating bills, find the system is generally easier to operate (there is no fuel to have to remember to buy, or to store), and they are pleased that using the system reduces their carbon footprint. As you're going to have your pool for more than a few years anyway, using this type of heating system makes a lot of sense.

There is a website which provides all the pool heating equipment you could ever need at a very reduced cost. They offer 30% discounts are standard, and if you can find any site on the Internet offers lower prices, they will undercut them by 10% of the difference. This means you can shop on this site confident that the prices that you pay the lowest.
