Sexy Swimsuit Model 2008 - Quiana Grant Hot Gallery

Quiana Grant was born in 1982, in Newport News, Virginia. At the age of 14, while out with a friend in her hometown, she was discovered by a talent scout from New York City. Instead of jumping into modeling right away, she decided to stay in school full time until she turned 16. That year her mother, Regina, who suffered from a serious eye condition called chorioretinitis, lost nearly all her eyesight. During the few years Regina underwent operations, which eventually fully restored her vision, she relied on Quiana Grant to serve as her eyes.

Although she did work on some assignments in New York before completing her studies at Menchville High School, Quiana Grant was ready to take on modeling full time after graduating in 1999. One of her first major signings was with Maybelline, and she's appeared in several ad campaigns for the cosmetics company over the years. Another high-profile brand she's appeared in advertisements for is Gap.

With top-name agencies like Modelwerk in Germany, City Models out of Paris, and IMG Models of New York representing her, Quiana Grant has landed runway work with many prominent fashion houses and designers. She debuted on the catwalks for the spring/summer 2003 season shows, gracing the runway for Anne Klein, Tommy Hilfiger and Diesel StyleLab. In 2004, she was strutting her stuff for Baby Phat, Hong Kong Luxe and Ya Ya, amongst others.

During her tenth year as a professional model, Quiana Grant reached a new milestone in her career when she became a Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue babe. The annual celebration of foxy female flesh was unleashed to a very devoted public in February 2008, with Quiana Grant taking her place alongside other risque rookies like Jessica Gomes, and Jeisa Chiminazzo. She was also one of four models who was featured in the magazine in body paint, shot in the exotic location of the Turks and Caicos Islands.

Hosted by Brookln Decker, a TV special spotlighting all of this year's models premiered on the TNT network in mid-February. A DVD edition with extra footage has also been released.

Quiana Grant lives in Harlem, New York City, but still considers Virginia home.
