We have lost a lot of folks up here to it, and you have the number close if not higher than I've heard.. I'd rather have a memorial to these lives lost, than (I'm sorry to offend anyone) another Michael jackson Hub! Thank you for this update!

Thanks Candie,

I got the numbers from the CDC, although they are not alrights right!

I agree, a memorial would be more fitting. These are the families the media should talk about.

Have you noticed the WHO is not publishing numbers anymore?

The projected losses this fall from this flu have been stated at the highest 90,000. the lowest 30,000. I have written a few hubs on what they are doing concerning this flu....and the vaccines have not been tested enough to tell if they are safe. I am praying for us all that we stay healthy and well during this season of untimely epidemic...and they cannot force us to take the vaccine. There are several organizations fighting for our rights.

God Bless!

Am waiting for test results. The doctor is sure I have it. It feels worse than other flu's I can remember, but I haven't been sick in so long, it's hard to say. It's a lot of achy/fever stuff, and my brain feels fogged. Nasty stuff.
