T5000 Camera Detects Hidden Objects

Acts of terrorism around the world have led to tighter security in our daily lives as well as when we travel to different places. Some evil people known as terrorists try to hide weapons, drugs or explosives under their clothes or in their luggage. For example, terrorists have tried a variety of ways to hide their weapons. For example, terrorists have cut open the bottom of their shoes and hidden knives in the sole a of their shoes and than closed the sole up again. Another tactic they have used is hiding a rifle in a cello case. Fortunately, the security methods used today are detecting the hidden weapons most of the time. However, a British company named ThruVision has come out with a much needed more advanced method to help detect these deadly weapons.

ThruVision is a British company that has developed a special camera called the T5000. This camera is capable of detecting if the terrorists have hidden harmful objects under their clothes. Terrorist usually target crowded places such as airports, malls, or sporting events to use these deadly weapons. The T5000 can see hidden objects on people from 80ft. away and it does not reveal physical body details. Most importantly,the camera does not harm people.

On March 12-13, 2008 this camera was displayed at a scientific development exhibition at Britain's home office of TruVision. This camera has the ability to see metallic and non-metallic items on people 25 meters away. The T5000 will enhance any type of security system.
