Moët Hennessy - Louis Vuitton (LVMH) the French holding company, and one of the worlds largest luxury goods conglomerates, acquired TAG Heuer in 1999 from the TAG Group who modernized the Heuer product line and became one of the most well respected and sought after names in Swiss watches.

TAG Heuer produces elegant and luxurious timepieces that are the choice watch of many celebrity sports figures, Hollywood stars and even the President of the United States. Maybe it’s because of the Heuer history with producing the finest precision watches. John Glen thought so; he wore one as he piloted the first US manned space flight that orbited the earth.

The Heuer line specializes in racing chronographs and most models feature quartz movements, water resistant encasement and sapphire crystals. It included names like Formula One, Aquaracer, Link, Carrera, Monaco, and Grand Carrera. The TAG Heuer watch called the “Professional Golf Watch” was developed with the assistance of the famous Tiger Woods.

TAG Heuer watches range in price from several hundred dollars to several thousand. There are of course replicas that will give you the look but never come close to the quality and precision that you will get with the real thing.
