Who, me?
Who, me?

Wouldn’t it be great if women’s clothing stores– either on line or in person – had signs out front that advertised them as being TG friendly? There truly is a good feeling that I get from knowing I will be welcomed and that I will be treated with the same respect as anyone else.

That’s an issue in malls and restaurants. have found that, as a very general rule, more expensive establishments are more likely to treat you with greater respect than would be the case in cheaper places. When you stop to think about it, it makes sense. Usually
high priced places employ people who are mature and better able to deal with a variety of customers. But even so, there are exceptions:
Payless Shoesources seem to be quite accustomed to dealing with men looking for large sized women’s shoes. I know because I have had conversations with the clerks.

On the other hand, if you shop on line, they are all TG friendly. Who’s there not to be nice? Not only that, but you can dress any old way you wish during your shopping “trip”. I do have one personal problem with on-line merchants: far too few of them use models whare, for us, personal fantasies. Now, really, how many of you are 5′6″, have long blond hair, and wear a size 10 mini dress? Not this kid! A great many clothing businesses advertise their sites under a
Google search for “cross dresser shopping”. However, when you visit their sites, you find that the clothes are being modeled by the most lovely young women you have never seen anywhere. There is no way that you can imagine how the clothes will really look on you until you have accumulated years of experience with shopping. So, really, how TG friendly is that!

I will make a suggestion to you if you wish to shop on-line: if you are built like me at 5′11″ and 195 pounds, look at plus size stores. If you are tall and thin (how did you do that?) then look at tall womens stores. In either case, you will have a much better chance of finding clothes that fit best and look best on your male body. Take it from me: been there, done that, bought the wrong tee-shirt.
