GUEST ROOM

Homes are a place we should feel sheltered, assured and most of all happy.

But there's one place in our home where the needs of other people should dictate the way we decorate---ur Guest Room.

Guest always enjoy a cozy room when spending time away from home.

If ur lucky enough to have a separate room for guests. You may have faced some dilemmas as you approached its decorating "how large should the bed be?Should I place a dresser in the room?..etc..and other questions as you tired to create a place to make ur overnight guests feel comfortable and welcomed.

f u need to decorate a guest room, here's how to really treat ur guest by making them feeel at home, and here are a few budget-conscious idea to get u started:

  1. Find a secondhand bed (single or queessized bed)
  2. Refurbish a second hand chest of drawers for the room.Guest will appreciate not having to leave out of suitcase on their visit.
  3. I u have mismatched furniture for the room, paint the diff pieces in the same color ot give them a sense of unity.
  4. place towels, linens an dother personal items in the guest room,so they wont have to hunt for them
  5. place extra hangers in the closet, since many guest will not bring their own but may have clothing to hang.
  6. treat your guest to wonderful scents by placing outpourri or aromatheraphy candles in their room.
  7. Select neutral colors and artwork, but don't make it too boring. It may be difficult for a guest to sleep in a bright purple room, but pastel or neutrals are fine choice.
  8. think of the items ud like to have when visiting someones homeand add them to the room. These may include a lamp of reading, a phone, some magazines, a waste basket, curtains for privacy, eztra pillows and blankets. Most, if not all, of these items can be picked up inexpensively at discount stores, flea markets and yard sales.

There's no particular look that's right when creating your guest room. Create originally, keeping cleanliness and convenience in mind. And

The most important thing when considering a guest bedroom is comfort and a sense of welcome.

Welcome to Hub pages - this is a good start. Hint: try to avoid 'text' language, and spell out words in full - for example 'you' not 'u'.

Look forward to reading more from you.

Thanks for putting such an emphasis on an often-neglected part of the house. I can't wait until I get a house to put these tips in action!

Very good tips! We don't have a guest room yet, but I'll make sure that I do these when I do.
