Violence on our streets

After writing THE HICKEY REPORT NO.6 ,another senseless act happened in Sydney Australia where a whole family was wiped out for no reason that we can see. It happened in the dead of night when some sadistic killer wiped out a family of five in their own home .

Why! We don't know at this stage. There has been a lot of publicity about these tradgic circumstances and you might have seen articles in the papers or watched it on television but one thing is for sure, there is someone out there that needs to be caught. The police are doing a great job and are working around the clock to bring some real clues to this stupid act of violence.

I will try to bring the report to you as accurate as I can and I am going to add a capsule of RSS FEED so that as I update these sad events, you will be sent the news without even looking it up. Well thats what I have in mind ,whether it goes that way or not ,remains to be seen.

lin Family Funeral

IN THE DEAD OF NIGHT

In the early hours of Saturday morning the 18Th July 2009 , a psychopath or psychopaths entered the North Epping home of Min and Yun Lin , Chinese immigrants who ran the Epping news agency , and apparently clubbed them to death along with their two sons, Henry 12, Terry,9, and their Aunt Irene yin. The family members that died together were made unrecognizable by their assailants making their bodies unidentifiable .

The family lived in a very quiet neighbourhood of North Epping ,a suburb that ends on the edge of bushland. The news agency was supposed to be opened at 4.30 am in the morning so that the papers that were delivered during the night could be taken inside, however the papers just sat outside closed doors making all the early customers worrying about why the shop had not opened.

The family house was in a very quiet area and hardly any one knew they were there, so it remains a mystery as to why they were hit.

The last member of the family,Brenda lin,15 was on a school excursion to New Caledonia with the Cheltenham Girls High School came back to be told the horrifying news about her family and at the moment is with family members in hiding.

My heart goes out to her for the pain she must be having. I have met a lot of Chinese people in Australia and they all have one thing in common. They all abhor violence in any form and go about their lives with a gentleness and respect for all walks of life.

We don't know why this has happened at the moment , but one thing I can tell you, the Police and the people of Australia are out to catch the person or persons who did this hideous crime and we won't stop until the culprits are slammed into prison forever.

At times like this I wonder why we are here at all . It does not make sense to me that ordinary human beings can go about their daily lives can be treated this way and endure hardships that that other people don't experience . I mean life has to have some meaning and if you are going to tell me we are all in a learning experience , I ask you ,how did this beautiful family get any learning experience out of this. Answer me that?!

If you have any information however small, please get in touch with your nearest Police station.

LATE NEWS

Lin family undergo DNA testing

FIVE members of the extended Lin family have voluntarily given their DNA to police today to assist with the investigation into the North Epping family murders.

Homicide squad detectives confirmed in a statement that they have begun taking DNA samples as part of “ongoing investigations” into the five murders of the Lin family in the early hours of Saturday, July 18.

However they stated the move was “part of standard investigative procedures” and would form part if the forensic evidence in the case. It is believed these samples will be compared with DNA samples that have been gathered from the Lin household on Boundary Road. It is understood police requested the samples from 5 of the Lin family members, including 15-year-old Brenda Lin, this morning and the family members attended Eastwood police.

UPDATE FROM DAILY TELEGRAPH

MORE than three weeks since the Lin family was found murdered in their North Epping home, police appear to be no closer to finding their killer or killers.

Strikeforce Norburn detectives have been working aggressively on the case, trying to turn up any leads for a motive into the grisly murders.

Blood trails discovered by forensic police inside Henry and Terry's bedroom have indicated the boys may awoken during the attack and tried to escape their murderer.

No suspect in the case has yet been identified.

UPDATE FROM BROWNLICKIE

DETECTIVE INSPECTIVE OLEN is in charge of the LIN MURDERS and of this date there have been no updates to what has happened. Inspector Olen is very experienced in this area and if any one can find out what happened it will be him. They have investigated all the family members as to their locations on the night in question and all of them have checked out.  Since the night of the murders, Detective Olen and a team of twenty investigators have been working around the clock to try and solve the case leaving no avenue unturned.  In 2003, a British  criminologist, Professor Innes said there were two types of murder, self-solvers and whodunits and went on to explain that the later type ,whodunits were the hardest to solve. Let’s hope that Detective Olen will come up with something in the near future to bring this terrible tragedy to a close. brownlickie

It is always sad to hear about violence against an innocent family. Recently I remember hearing on the news how an innocent little boy was killed by his uncle just because the man wanted to hurt his family. I find it so barbaric that human beings can do such things to other human beings.
