THE KILLER CURE FOR HIGH GAS PRICES
50LETS PUNISH THE MIDDLE CLASS SOME MORE
Before we get into it...first lets take a good look at the truth. The crippling and unnecessary rise in gas prices can be stopped by one simple move; if congress would repeal the [Enron] loop hole, then the proper regulatory agency could put a lid on the amount of the price of gas, period.
The Enron loophole is, just another stealth mechanism that allows the rich to get richer and the poor to get poorer.
Now lets review the propaganda:
The key to progress in the fight to free the American consumer from foreign oil, is to support high gas prices. The common justification for this [kill um with the cure,] strategy is this: only by attrition can we force the American, consumer to participate in making changes in our nations dependence on foreign oil.
Only by forcing people into bankruptcy and foreclosure can we hope to change the attitude of the average consumer to buy American made fuel efficient vehicles.
So once again the End Justifies the Means. It is ironic that the people promoting this killer cure of higher gas prices; as an incentive to modifying consumer habits, are people who are invested in oil futures or make enough money to afford the higher gas.
Now most politicians are anxious to jump on the “Drill Baby Drill,” band wagon. Why? Oil lobbyist dollars for their next campaign, is the real answer, but they claim they are trying to protect our way of life as their foundation of reasoning.
They say that at $2.74 a gallon will force the public to buy the Toyota Prius, and other low fuel consumption vehicles.
They totally over look how many families will be forced to choose between groceries and paying their mortgages. How many more layoffs this country will see as the added gas prices reduce the labor budget, for many small businesses.
Then there is the effect that the higher gas prices will have on rebuilding the national economy, that alone should motivate the powers that be to stop the insanity/greed...but no...as long as they personally profit from the siege against the middle class they pretend to be too busy with other matters to really pay attention to what’s taking place.
We our without true leaders at a time when we most need them. They are so busy taking care of themselves we are forced to endure unnecessary hardship and a future the bodes even worse consequences for the average citizen.
Only God can help us now.

We have similar views on this I just finished writing http://hubpages.com/hub/Why-Hybrid-Cars-are-Not-th a short while ago. The solution is not higher mileage cars. The earth does not have enough resources to manufacturer them. We have built a society around suburban sprawl. Our infrastructure supports an automobile society. Would be impossible economically to reverse what has been built.
The Government is controlled by the Central Bank (Federal Reserve). The "Fed" is not owned by the Government but a group of private bankers whose interests do not align with the American Tax Payer. The real owners of the Fed are not all American. The real owners are not disclosed as this is the nature of Corporate Privacy Laws.
This gets very complex... but the bottom line is this... our Country is built on a continuing system of debt. The Fractional Reserve Banking System is nothing more than numbers on computers. It's backed by nothing. Money is created out of nothing. The Fed exists to keep the American Taxpayer a slave to a mortgage. It's very easy to control the population when you control the money supply. The real problem is the debt system the Fed creates is not infinitely sustainable. The real crash is still on it's way. The average person is not educated enough to realize this. People think our system is good because it motivates people to work. There is this mentality that it's okay to be obscenely rich and we as people don't want to change that because we some how mistakenly believe we will be rich someday. It's just a sick and twisted fantasy.
