The Old Saying goes "Health is Wealth" and it's really is. I've read and seen so many supplements in the market today which being advertised in body visual and written medium. This caught my attention, and tried it. It works for me, hope with you too.

"Our bodies are temples of the living God via the agent of the Holy Spirit. (1 Corinthians 3:16, 6:19) God is concerned with how we treat these, His works of unsurpassed art. (1 Corinthians 3:17)

"An ounce of prevention is better than a pound of cure,"

Silymarin is an antioxidant flavonoid derived from the plant Cardus marianus (Milk Thistle). Its antioxidant properties have been shown to help maintain normal liver function. It has been used for over 2,000 years.

DOES SILYMARIN HAVE SIDE EFFECTS WHEN TAKEN AS A DAILY SUPPLEMENT?

There are no documented side effects of milk thistle. Even very high doses do not seem to have any negative side effects.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF SILYMARIN

Milk thistle contains several chemicals with possible medical effects, one of them, silymarin has many specific protective effects on cells in the liver.

In multiple laboratory studies, silymarin has shown differing signs of effectiveness for protecting the liver from damage caused by alcohol, chemicals, drugs, diseases, and poisonous plants. It is used to treat both acute conditions such as poisoning of certain mushrooms and long-term diseases such as hepatitis C. Silymarin and other chemicals in milk thistle are believed to protect liver cells in different ways:

  • Silymarin has antioxidant properties which prevent or lessen damage to body cells that is caused by a chemical process called oxidation.
  • Its anti-inflammatory effects help keep liver cells from swelling in response to injury
  • Regeneration of new liver cells
  • Improve the immune system to be more active

HOW IS SILYMARIN USED?

The usual dosage of milk thistle extract is between 300 milligrams (mg) - 600 mg daily.

Chemical compositions

Thiamine Nitrate General

Synonyms: vitamin B1 nitrate

Use: permitted food additive in many countries

Molecular formula: C12H17N4OSNO3 /CAS No: 532-43-4 / EINECS No: 208-537-4

Thiamine: A member of the vitamin B complex (water-soluble) including thiamine (vitamin B1), riboflavin (vitamin B2), riboflavin 5'- phosphate, nicotinic acid, Vitamin B6 Group (Pyridoxine, pyridoxal, pyridoxamine), panthothenic acid (vitamin B3 or vitamin B5), inositol, p-aminobenzoic acid, biotin (vitamin B7), folic acid (vitamin B9), and vitamin B12 (cobalamins). Thiamine has the structure of substituted-pyrimidine linked to substituted-thiazole. Thiamine is an essential ingredient for the biosynthesis of the coenzyme thiamine pyrophosphate which plays an important role in carbohydrate metabolism (catalyzing decarboxylation of various alpha-keto acids). Thiamine hydrochloride form is generally employed. This vitamin is a factor for appetite, normal intestinal function, cardiovascular and nervous systems.

Pyridoxine

Chemical Name: Pyridine-3-Carboxyamide

Molecular formula: C6H6N2O / Molecular weight: 122.13 / CAS No.: 98-92-0

Pyridoxine assists in the balancing of sodium and potassium as well as promoting red blood cell production. It is linked to cardiovascular health by decreasing the formation of homocysteine. It has been suggested that Pyridoxine might help children with learning difficulties, and may also prevent dandruff, eczema, and psoriasis.[citation needed] In addition, pyridoxine can help balance hormonal changes in women and aid in immune system. Lack of pyridoxine may cause anemia, nerve damage, seizures, skin problems, and sores in the mouth.

Vitamin B6, also called pyridoxine, is one of eight water-soluble B vitamins. The B vitamins help the body to convert carbohydrates into glucose (sugar), which is "burned" to produce energy. These vitamins, often referred to as the B complex, are also essential in the metabolism of fats and protein. B complex vitamins also play an important role in maintaining muscle tone in the gastrointestinal tract and promoting the health of the nervous system, skin, hair, eyes, mouth, and liver.

Nicotinamide

Nicotinamide may have anti-diabetogenic activity in some. It may also have antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and anticarcinogenic activities. Nicotinamide has putatitive activity against osteoarthritis and granuloma annulare.

Riboflavin

Vitamin B2 - riboflavin - is required for

It is required by the body to use oxygen and the metabolism of amino acids, fatty acids, and carbohydrates. Riboflavin is further needed to activate vitamin B6 (pyridoxine), helps to create niacin and assists the adrenal gland. It may be used for red blood cell formation, antibody production, cell respiration, and growth.

Riboflavin, a water-soluble vitamin, helps the body release energy from protein, fat, and carbohydrates during metabolism.

A deficiency of riboflavin can be primary - due to not getting enough of the vitamin from the diet - or secondary, which may be a result of conditions that affect absorption in the intestine, the body not being able to use the vitamin, or an increase in the excretion of the vitamin from the body.

In humans, signs and symptoms of riboflavin deficiency (ariboflavinosis) include cracked and red lips, inflammation of the lining of mouth and tongue, mouth ulcers, cracks at the corners of the mouth (angular cheilitis), and a sore throat. A deficiency may also cause dry and scaling skin, fluid in the mucous membranes, and iron-deficiency anemia. The eyes may also become bloodshot, itchy, watery and sensitive to bright light.

Pantothenic

Vitamin B5 is also known as pantothenic acid or calcium pantothenate. This is a water soluble vitamin which is found in the cells. Vitamin B5 is produced in the intestines by bacteria and is known to place a role on preventing depression. Vitamin B5 is necessary for the release of energy from carbohydrates, the synthesis and degradation of fatty acids and other acetylation reactions.

This vitamin is also required for the production of steroid hormones, the adrenal glands' production of hormones and nervous system function. Vitamin B5 is required to gain resistance to stress, shock and allergies, plus protection against radiation-caused cellular damage. Vitamin B5 has other uses including being required for carbohydrate, fat and protein metabolism, cholesterol and fatty acids, skin health, and decreasing side effects of certain drugs.
